During the next week, you will receive the spring issue of the Baylor Line magazine. Today, we want to let you--our valued life and annual members--know about some exciting new ways that your alumni association is enhancing the Baylor family's ability to discuss topics of importance to our alma mater.
In addition to the online version of the Baylor Line, where you can read this issue's cover story on the rising cost of higher education, we have added a blog and a message board, called Baylor Line Forum, to our now independently hosted website and e-mail news delivery system.
These new features are designed to strengthen your ability, as an important part of the Baylor family, to engage in a celebration of our alma mater's achievements as well as an exploration of the challenges facing Baylor.
Right now, on the Baylor Line Forum you will find threads about the cost of going to college and how Baylor's price compares to peer institutions. You can also join in discussions about the historic success of the men's and women's basketball teams and the recent tenure decisions at Baylor, in which twelve of thirty candidates were reportedly denied tenure by the administration.
We welcome your perspectives and encourage you and your friends and family members to join in the "Baylor family conversation" through our new online features. Thank you for your support and your place in "that good old Baylor line."
