Baylor Institute for Learning in Retirement (BILR)The Institute for Learning in Retirement offers persons of retirement age an array of learning opportunities and
 experiences in a comfortable venue with persons of similar interests and abilities.
For the most part, the class subjects are selected by the members and taught by experienced teachers gifted in the art of communicating in a down-to-earth and colorful style.

BILR membership includes:
- Classes during daytime hours at easily accessible sites
- Orientation and access to the Baylor University library facilities
- Activities and day study trips to unique places
- Information about lectures and other special events at Baylor University
- Associate membership in the Baylor Alumni Association
- Eligibility to participate in ILR weekenders and Elderhostel study programs
The annual membership fee is $60 for individuals and $100 for couples, which covers the period September 1 to August 31. Course cost is an additional $20 per course.
