A travel consultant, Babs is president of Independent Traveler and specializes in group travel. She has served on numerous Baylor and Baptist boards and has been involved with Baylor School of Music programs and the alumni association for many years. Babs is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in music education. She is married to John Jarrett, and they are members of Trinity Baptist Church, where she is a deacon. She also directs two singing groups, the Sonshine Singers and Made-to-Order. Babs has two grown children: Jackie Morrison Moore '86 and Julie Morrison Ortiz '89.
