Daralynn serves as a consulting psychiatrist for Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, after earning a DO degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 1998. She is a faithful Baylor football and Lady Bears basketball fan and participates in Fort Worth Baylor events. She is a member of Broadway Baptist Church and is on the board of directors of Planned Living Assistance Network of North Texas, a residential facility for adults with serious mental illness and their families. She is married to Walter Dean Hatter '87, and they have two daughters, Joye and Hope.
