Felipe is program manager at L-3 Communications and a deacon at First Baptist Church. He has served on the Human Welfare Coordinating Board of the Baptist General Convention of Texas and on the board of a Guatemalan orphanage. He and his wife, Sharla Hay Garcia '87, have one daughter, Aleena.
