Gordon earned an MBA in 1984 from Southern Methodist University and works in warehousing and real estate for Wilkerson Storage Company of Lubbock. A member of the Lubbock Independent School Board, he is also a deacon at First Baptist Church of Lubbock. He and his wife, Lori Reid Wilkerson '83, have three children--Rachel, Ellen, and Caroline.
