Gwin is in development with the Baptist Foundation of Texas. Previously he was the vice president for institutional advancement at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a development officer for Baylor. In addition to his Baylor degree, he earned an MRE from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1965, an MS from the University of North Texas in 1966, and a PhD from Texas Tech University in 1973. He is the chair of the Baylor Alumni Association Sesquicentennial Advisory Committee. Gwin and his wife, Brenda Moore Morris '63, have two children--Scott '90 and Brent.
