As the Baylor Line associate editor, Lisa Asher--previously a technical editor at an aeronautics company in Waco--serves as the editor of the "Under Review" section, "A Look Back" history column, and the Class Notes, the magazine's most widely read section. An award-winning writer, she frequently writes features and profiles for the magazine. She also supervises the magazine's student writing interns.
Lisa has been the editor of Between the Lines, the alumni association's e-mail newsletter, since its inception in July 2001. The newsletter, which features original news and campus-related stories, is sent to more than 74,000 alumni every month. Lisa also serves as the content editor and technical administrator for the association's website.
Lisa graduated from Baylor in 1989 with a degree in English, and she earned her master's in English in 1999. She serves as adjunct faculty in Baylor's English department and is an advisor for the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the largest student organization on Baylor's campus.
