Mary Ann is retired from the real estate industry and is active at First Baptist Church of Gilmer, especially through the WMU. She has served two terms on the Baptist General Convention of Texas Executive Board and on the board's nominating committee. She and her husband, William '55, have four children--Tom Patterson '79, Elizabeth Patterson Pruitt '82, Bill Patterson '85, and Jim Patterson '86.
