 Meg Cullar
News Editor, the Baylor Line, Meg_Cullar@baylor.edu
When Meg Cullar '82 joined the Baylor Line staff as news editor in 1995, she was already well acquainted with the Line. She worked as a student assistant while earning a bachelor's degree in journalism and art and also wrote freelance articles for the Line for several years. In between, from 1983 until 1989, she worked in publicity for Word Publishing.
As Line news editor, Meg compiles the "Around the Quad" news section, the "Sports Report," and "BAA News." These sections of the magazine keep alumni up to date on campus news, athletic events and personalities, and alumni association events. Meg also frequently writes feature articles for the Line. She has won two gold awards in news writing from CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) District IV, along with numerous silver and bronze awards.
Meg is married to John Cullar '82, JD '84, and they have two sons, Joseph and Carter.
