Pete Rowe
Development Officer, pete_rowe@baylor.edu

As a development officer, Pete helps to develop strategies and opportunities for the operational areas and programs of the alumni association, as well as working with the Board of Director's development committee and executive council of the Sesquicentennial endowment campaign.

Since graduating from Baylor with a BS in 1973, Pete has continued to be involved with the Baylor family. His career as a coach in Texas high schools earned him the distinction of Texas State High School Coach of the Year in 1978. His career at Baylor began with a volunteer track coach position with Clyde Hart from 1988-96, and he officially joined the Athletic Department in 1996, where he served in numerous capacities ranging from equipment manager, facilities coordination, event management, customer service, and recruitment.

Pete has served as the president of the Mart ISD School Board since 1996 and received the Mart Outstanding Alumnus Award in 2004. He is married to Dana Rowe of Waco, and they have four children together: Pete '97, MBA '99; Blake '01; Kristen; and Wade. Pete is a member of First Baptist Church of Mart.
