A past president of the Baylor Alumni Association, Susie is a homemaker and volunteer. She has served as the president of the Truett Seminary board and on the Women's Athletic Cabinet, the Library Board of Advocates, and several Baptist General Convention of Texas commissions. She and her husband, Charlie '48, have four children--Charles Jr. '68; Mark '79, JD '84; Jeff '89; and Jan Jaynes Quesada, MA '90, PhD '95--fourteen grandchildren, and six great-grandsons.
